Born and raised in Kansas City, I’ve been writing since the age of 8 and was first published while still in high school. Today, I am a storyteller extraordinaire, an acclaimed poet and an award-winning business document writer. There are now five published works in my children’s book line, and several projects in the pipeline including my second poetry collection.

I am an entrepreneur in spirit and a visionary by nature, responsible for incubating and birthing 12 different companies including a billion-dollar sports complex, a nonprofit organization supporting skill and talent development of low-income kids, and a consulting firm that has helped launch more than a dozen start-ups for others. I currently sit on the Board of Directors for five corporations.
